In 2014, Hamburg Marketing GmbH had good grounds for celebration – and not just because it was this comparatively young agency’s birthday: Hamburg Marketing GmbH and its campaigns have made a weighty contribution to defining the city of Hamburg as a brand and communicating this all around the world. This has helped Hamburg, a city with so many different facets, to achieve global recognition; it has given Hamburg an unmistakable face and won over people and businesses to the location.
To mark the 10th anniversary of Hamburg Marketing GmbH, the agency envisaged a commemorative volume of articles, a Festschrift, which was to be as appealing and unmistakable as the city itself. redroses presented a concept entitled “ZEHN” (Ten) which hit the spot precisely. ZEHN is a combination of book and magazine, packed with insightful, informative and entertaining writing. It is much more than a review, instead describing the status quo of the brand, the city and the topics that Hamburg Marketing will be focusing on in the future. The ten chapters show Hamburg and the city marketing activities in all their different facets: top media location, busy port, centre of environmental excellence, global centre of commerce, native city and capital of culture. Compellingly readable – not just for Hamburgers!
