Burt’s Bees and Innovadex: two new clients for red roses communications

Hamburg, August 11, 2010 – red roses communications is pleased to announce two
new clients. Since July, the Hamburg-based agency has been managing the German
PR work for Burt’s Bees, the cosmetics label, and Innovadex, the specialized Internet
search engine.

Burt’s Bees is the most successful brand of natural body-care products in the US.
The premium line, which was launched on the German market in March, is based on
substances created by bees — wax, honey and royal jelly. The brand became well
known because of its legendary back story, its persuasive corporate philosophy and
its celebrity fans such as Claudia Schiffer, Halle Berry and Demi Moore.

“With Burt’s Bees, we have not only won a very successful client, we are working with
a very remarkable one,” says Katja Derow, managing director of red roses. “In the US
the brand has enjoyed cult status for 25 years, whereas for a long time here in Germany
it was only an inside tip. We are delighted to be able to publicize Burt’s Bees throughout
the country.” red roses communications will be responsible for all of Burt’s Bees PR
work nationwide and will manage the company's social media activities in Germany.

The second new client, Innovadex, is the leading international search engine for the
chemical industry, life sciences and the food and beverage industry. Within seconds,
Innovadex gives product developers information about raw-material suppliers, access to
product samples and the world's largest collection of relevant technical information.
The search engine recently changed its name from Chemidex. “We are thrilled to be able
to be able to support this exciting new client with our solid network of contacts to the
industry and the trade press,” Katja Derow says.

Burt’s Bees and Innovadex are the latest additions to red roses communications' portfolio of
clients. red roses, which was founded in 2006, counts many other prestigious names among
its key accounts, including fragrance and flavoring manufacturer Symrise, Mäurer + Wirtz
perfumes, Villeroy & Boch ceramics, Lapp & Fao gourmet foods, Lotos office furniture and
Bellobene, the online shop.
